Takoyaki at a small гЃѕгЃ¤г‚Љ/festival in #Ueno #Asakusa area. Takoyaki is a common snack sold at such festival in #japan. It's a ball of batter filled with diced octopus, ginger and green onion, served with takoyaki sauce, a bit of mayonnaise, and topped with aonori (seaweed shavings) and bonito (shavings of dried fish). It's then cooked in a special takoyaki pan to give its round shape. Delish!

Last summer, I went on a solo backpacking trip to Europe. I didn’t feel like asking strangers to take pictures of me and I’m not too fond of selfies, but I AM always eating so I took pictures of food at whatever memorable site I was in.

#Durian ice cream bread at #Orchard road, the most popular shopping district in #Singapore. The road is literally a long row of one shopping malls after another! It might be a little odd for some of you to see ice cream served on bread, but I love it. The concept isn't so foreign to me – we used to have this as after school snack in Indonesia, where I grew up. The best part? Only $1 from the street vendor 😱 Do i have any #singaporean followers?
